THERE IS NO PARK ANYMORE, DUE TO THE PLACE TURNED INTO A SOCIOECONOMICAL WASTELAND
The first ever piece introduced at the parks opening day was a sculpture by the Norwegian artist Anders Holen. Holen a 28 year old artist based in Oslo handed over a gesmonite cast of a handmolded claybase, this solid sculpture donated by the artist him self, with the means to give fortune to the outside scenery.
The sculpturepark is situated at 183 meters above sea-level. It took form as a part of the first ever exhibition opened at Elephant and organized by Elephant Kunsthall. As a mean to give life outside it´s walls Elephant have each year supported the growth of the park with two thirds of its budget averageing four new sculptures every year
The second sculpture to take blunder at the field was 5 year diploma graduate Fredrik Berberg, whos piece reflected the bauta in which the seasones mountain layers of the aera seems to overwhelm.
