THE DREAM AND HOPES (OF THE COMMOM GATEPOST)

With the gatepost as a role model for sculptural production, does a highly subjective sculptural definition appear in the exhibition The dreams and hopes (of the common gate post). As the proportional similarities are striking between the gatepost and the typical image of sculpture on pedestal, a potential to assign the gatepost the pedestals power of definition occurs. As a result of this, the objects which normally are located on top of the gatepost becomes sitters for the sculptures, where in this situation are cable coils and flex pipes, as it often appears before theaccompanying lamp is mounted. The situation in the gallery takes place in a manner that reflects the ambiguity of the sculptures, where the synthesized rendering of nature and elements of interior overlap, creating a hybrid environment, where the distinction between the outside- and inside environment whispered out.
